Position description

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for temporary Assistant Research and Associate Research positions (Professional Research Series). The Professional Researcher title is given only to those who engage in independent research equivalent to that required for the Professor series.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Applicants must have a PhD (or equivalent) or completed all requirements for a PhD except the dissertation at the time of application in engineering, or the physical or biological sciences.

Additional qualifications (required at time of start)

PhD by time of appointment.

Preferred qualifications

Desired qualifications include an outstanding research record or demonstrated independent research in the areas of: Computer Engineering, Communications, Control & Signal Processing, or Electronics and Photonics.
