A strong record of publications consistent with the candidate’s rank, evidence of a future research trajectory, and strong participation in relevant professional organizations are required. The successful candidate must have a proven record of effective teaching at the undergraduate level, ability to mentor graduate students, and capacity to speak beyond their area of expertise to the broader field of Religious Studies or beyond.
